This year’s event was put together in Association with Continental Europe, Hong Kong, Japan and UK Chapters and the International Committee of the AIA and it featured a speaker panel unrivalled in the Middle East. Some of the world’s most respected architects and visionaries shared their experiences and outlook on architecture in a global recession.

The conference attracted delegates who were involved in the design, build and post-occupancy of any facility including Facilities Managers, Property Owners, Facilities Designers, MEP Contractors, Strata Managers, Real Estate Developers, Property Managers, Maintenance Managers: Delegates took away the key strategies and methods they can implement to ensure they optimise the energy use and reduce costs at their facility.		The event was not just about “green buildings” – it included green communities, green construction methods, energy saving issues, financing green buildings, regulations, facilities management, whole life costs and new materials and products. Green Day @ Cityscape Dubai was a focused one-day event which shared ideas – no presentations, but intellectual discourse which took the subject forward.
