ANDREW JONES | DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROJECTS, BATTERSEA POWER STATION DEVELOPMENT COMPANY

Andrew is responsible for leading residential sales in MENA and the GCC, where he has significant experience of the investor market. Andrew has held this role since 2012 when he joined Battersea Power Station to devise and execute the global sales launch of Phases One, Two and Three, still referenced today as one of the most successful off-plan sales of any UK development, with nearly all of the apartments released selling out in a matter of weeks.

Over his 20+ year career, Andrew has gained a wealth of experience and an understanding of the prime and super-prime markets in London and has represented some of the capital’s most notable schemes such as One Hyde Park and The Shard.

Project Description: Battersea Power Station is at the heart of one of central London’s largest, most visionary and eagerly anticipated regeneration projects. This vast former industrial brownfield site on the banks of the River Thames, which had been derelict for 30 years, is transforming into one of the capital’s most exciting new town centres. It will deliver thousands of new homes, state-of-the-art offices including Apple’s London campus, hundreds of shops and restaurants, new cultural venues and over 18 acres of public space, including a new six-acre public park in front of the Power Station.

The area is now serviced by a river bus at the Battersea Power Station Pier and will soon be connected to the London Underground Service when a new Zone 1 Tube Station opens as part of the Northern Line Extension in 2021, making this one of the most well-connected parts of the capital.
